Jacob C. Gaffey

Mr. Gaffey joined Bay Capital Advisors in October of 2008 after nearly 8 years with Lehman Brothers as a senior banker in the Financial Institutions Group. He brings extensive transactional and advisory experience in mergers and acquisitions, corporate valuations, as well as debt and equity capital markets for the Specialty Finance market.  During his tenure at Lehman Brothers, Mr. Gaffey was involved in transactions valued in excess of $20 billion.

In 1986, Mr. Gaffey founded Capital Strategies Group, Inc., an advisory firm to the Specialty Finance Industry including banks, thrift institutions and mortgage companies.  Capital Strategies was acquired in 1997 by Cohane Rafferty Securities, Inc.  Cohane Rafferty was acquired by Lehman Brothers in 2001.  Mr. Gaffey is a Director of A.T. Cross Company (Nasdaq:ATX) and is a Board Member of Button Hole Short Course & Learning Center and the Rhode Island Golf Association.
