Franz L. Pool

Franz Pool is a co-founder of BCA Mezzanine Fund, L.P. Franz left the State of Wisconsin Investment Board (SWIB) as a Managing Director in its $3.4 billion alternative investment portfolio to co-found BCA Mezzanine Fund, L.P.

Prior to SWIB, Mr. Pool was a principal in Whitney & Company’s $650 million mezzanine fund. This followed an extensive career in mezzanine and private capital investing with The Travelers Insurance Companies, Dorrance Street Capital Management, and Metacomet Capital.

Mr. Pool holds an undergraduate degree from Rockford College and a JD/MBA from Washington University.
